After the successful acquisition of exploration rights for wind power resources in Zhalute Qi and Keyouqian Qi, Inner Mongolia, the Company again attained fruitful achievements on the exploration of wind power resources outside Hebei Province by duly entering into the Agreement for Cooperative Development of Siziwang Qi Wind Power Project with Inner Mongolia Siziwang Qi People’s Government. The agreed capacity was 500MW.
The development zone of the agreement is located within Bayin wind farm which is under integrated planning by Siziwang Qi and has an area of approximately 108 sq.km.. A large portion of the wind farm zone is deserted pasture with abundant wind power resources boasting high grade of wind power, stable wind condition and good continuity. Adding to its smooth and spacious terrain, convenient transportation and close proximity to the West Mongolia power grid connection point, the development potential is substantial. Through the acquisition of the exploration right for wind power resources in Siziwang Qi, the Company further expanded its influence on the wind power development field in Inner Mongolia and preliminarily established a development layout centering around Hebei, principally underpinned by East Mongolia and West Mongolia, the two state 10GW- bases and radiating out to surrounding provinces such as Shanxi and Shandong.
